How to Iron a Wedding Gown

Congratulations you're getting married. You have a lot to do before your big day and the one thing you don't want to have to worry about is a wrinkled wedding gown. All you need is a little time and you won't have to worry. Your chiffon dress and your brow will both be wrinkle-free. Read on to learn how.
Instructions
1. Check with the manufacturer of the dress or a sales associate at the store where you bought the gown to see what temperature setting you should use to iron the gown.
2. Make sure you have a portable iron or a garment steamer on your wedding day. It also wouldn't be a bad idea to take an extension cord with you, just in case the cord on the iron isn't long enough to reach the entire gown.
3. Hang the dress on a padded hanger.
4. Try a small spot on the strapless women dress at first so you know you're using the right temperature setting and amount of pressure.
5. Iron the gown from the top to the bottom. Have one of your bridesmaids hold the pieces being ironed while another works the iron.
6. Work down the body of the gown first. Then iron the sleeves. If there is an underskirt, iron each layer on its own.
7. End with ironing the hemline and the train if you have one.
8. Don your wrinkle-free wedding gown.
