About VetUSA
VetUSA was an idea that service-disabled veteran Jack Leinweber had in 2007. After retiring from the Air Force, Jack was running a successful SDVOSB practice working with veterans and their families on financial planning and insurance. His clients told him how difficult it was to find clear, easy to understand information about veteran benefits and programs. There were no shortage of websites offering information, but those sites seemed cluttered and confusing, with links and cross-links to all sorts of other sites. Jack realized that if he could take the knowledge he had and share it with veterans through a clear and easy to use website, he could help many more veterans and their families.
Launched in August 2011 at the National Veteran Small Business Conference and Expo, VetUSA was created with a mission to continually educate and update veteran businesses, veterans, and their families on government programs, benefits, products and discounts. It's designed to be a one-stop resource for business and personal success.
VetLINK is our social community and it's just for veterans and their families. Modeled after current popular social network websites, VetUSA members can connect with friends, join military-specific groups, and link with non-profit organizations or government agencies.
Like no other place online, VetUSA is uniquely designed to improve the personal and businesses lives of active-duty and veteran service members and their families. Our goal is simple – easy to understand information, valuable resources, great products, services and discounts.
We hope you find VetUSA to be a useful and enjoyable resource!
