How to Fix Snags in Jackets
After years of wearing your favorite belstaff sale jackets, the fabric can become delicate and tear easily, especially on leather jackets. Leather items tend to soften and crack over a period of time. Other fabrics, like nylon, are prone to rips, tears, and snags. Luckily, if you don't want to throw away your favorite belstaffsale jacket, there are ways to repair it. There are patches that can be applied to heat-safe fabrics with a hot iron. These patches can be matched to the color and type of material.
Instructions
1. Thread your needle with the nylon thread. Tie the end of the thread into a knot.
2. Close the snag in the belstaff leather jackets. Pull the two broken pieces of fabric together. Use the needle and thread to stitch the snag.
3. Rub some seam sealant on the back of the nylon patch and on the stitch. Allow the sealant to sit for three to five minutes before applying the patch.
4. Apply the nylon patch over the snag. Place the cloth over the patch. Do not skip this step. The cloth stops the iron from burning the nylon.
5. Turn your iron to a low setting. Place the patch and cloth on a flat surface and press the iron over the cloth for a few second and remove it.
