What you'll need is pins, a pair of scissors and a piece of fabric or muslin or if you have fashion fabric that you're going to use for your dress and a dress form if you have it. If not, you can also use a model or person or something that you're going to use to create the dress for. First step is, you put your muslin up or your fabric. This one is on, on the bias actually. So, you let your fabric lay naturally where it's going to fall and as you're draping it, you're going to pinch the fabric down the, the front of the bust line where you would normally have darts and on the side of the, of the body where you would have a bust dart. In this case, I have a French dart. And you would just pin it down where it would fall; since most of, our bodies are, are rounded, you will round out the fabric around the body and then down the front. If you have a longer dress, you would pin the darts down the front until the excess fabric is gone, smoothing away the muslin until you get a smooth finish.
